Casella Wines invites Griffith residents to apply for Scholarship
Casella Wines love passionate people who are up for the thrills and spills of being a winemaker; so much so that they have a dedicated scholarship program that invests in the best graduate winemakers around.
Students from the Griffith/Leeton region who are commencing an undergraduate degree at Charles Sturt University Wagga Wagga Campus can now apply for the annual Casella Wines Scholarships offered through the Charles Sturt Foundation.
There are five scholarships valued at $5,000 per annum up for grabs, spread between the following courses: Wine Science and/or Viticulture, Nursing, Medical Imaging or Nuclear Medicine
To be eligible, students must:
1. Be commencing full-time undergraduate study at Charles Sturt University Wagga Wagga Campus in 2009 in any of the above mentioned disciplines; OR be commencing the Bachelor of Nursing degree by distance education run in conjunction with Griffith TAFE
2. Be a resident of the Griffith and Leeton shires
3. Have completed the majority of their high school education within the Riverina region
Applicants should complete the 2009 Charles Sturt Foundation Scholarship application form and include copies of relevant supporting documents.
A grant of $2,500 will be presented to the Scholarship winners after selection and $2,500 at the beginning of each session, subject to the students maintaining a credit grade point average in each preceding session. Applications close 23rd February, 2009.
