[yellow tail] Country Hoedown comes to the
2011 JAYCO Tamworth Country Music Festival
[yellow tail], one of Australia’s most popular wine brands*, introduces the [yellow tail] Country Hoedown to the 2011 JAYCO Tamworth Country Music Festival.
Channel 7’s Dancing with the Stars judge, Mark Wilson will be running and judging a linedancing competition at Tamworth’s popular country music event.
At 10.00am on Sunday 23 January, festival‐goers are invited to meet Mark Wilson at Bicentennial Park for a free line‐dancing lesson. Once people get the knack of the routine, he will judge the 2011 Line‐Dancer of the Year who will win a year’s worth of [yellow tail] wine**.
Local musicians will provide the music and entertainment for the competition.
Senior Brand Manager for [yellow tail], Travis Fuller is excited to introduce a slightly different twist to what is known as Australia’s biggest country music festival of the year.
“The 2011 JAYCO Tamworth Country Music Festival is known for showcasing some of Australia’s finest musical talent. Music makes people want to dance, so we’ve joined with Mark Wilson to help people learn country dancing and have a great time,” said Travis.
[yellow tail] is the official wine sponsor of the 2011 Tamworth Country Music Festival and will bring country music fans popular wine varieties including Bubbles, Moscato, Pinot Grigio and Shiraz to enjoy as they watch the many music acts on offer.
The [yellow tail] Kombi van named Bubbles, complete with refrigeration systems and a fold out wine bar, will be supplying wines at several music concerts throughout the two‐week festival.

- The official opening concert, Friday 14 January 2011
- CMAA Awards Invite only after party, Sunday 23 January 2011
- Kenny Rogers Experience, Monday 24 January 2011
- Jayco Country Theatre Bar at Tamworth Regional Entertainment Centre, 14–20 January 2011
